A whimsical Wonderland Wedding Feature *Excited dance*

Ian and Rachael do completely rock. I have mentioned them a few times over the last couple of posts because in an all singing all dancing way they deserve shouting about!

I have loved my email conversations with Rachael over the past couple of months and I have my fingers crossed I will still be allowed to bother her after she has got hitched in a couple of weeks time!

Rachael and Ian anr getting married at The Lowry center in Manchester and I am a weenie beenie bit excited to be shooting their big day (oh the dress, and the shoes..... eeek, can't say any more now but fingers crossed we will have lots to share with you soon :)

I shot the peeps for an engagement session in Didsbury on a gorgeous sunny day a few months back now and today their session is featured on Lou's gorgeous blog

Groovy baby!

Morning lovlies!

So Monday morning. Humph. I know I don't work a regular 9 to 5, blimey, not even close!! But somehow Monday mornings still have that little sinking feeling inside me! Not today though :)

I feel like I am hitting the week running, with a lovely list of goals and targets to get through over the next few days.

Plus this morning I have peeked at the ever-so-fab looking Beatnik Bazaar Website, where some of my photos are featured. Go have a little lookie at my swimming pool photo and vintage camera shots. I can't wait until their online shop is up and running, I'm sure there will be lots of gorgeous vintage finds I'll have to resist buying.

Ok, ok, just one more sneaky peek......

Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you Sarah, a seriously fab gal with AMAZING ink, I wish I was brave enough to have something like this done!

She is also a seriously kick ass vintage hair stylist so if your barnet ever needs boofing, get in touch with her. She is brilliant.

Looking forward, looking back......

Hello lovies! How have you all been?

I had such a great week last week, I am still feeling on a high today (rainy weather, pah, I laugh in your face!!).

The spring and summer this year have been epic, such gorgeous couples to shoot, meeting amazing new people, enjoying a fair chunk of sunshine, and definitely eating waaaaaaay too much cake..... I could go on.....

The start of Autumn and inevitable winter can sometimes signal a little bit of wind down and slowing of pace but not this year! I best be eatin' me spinach ya ya yaaaaar.

There are a few projects in the near future to pull together, including a tattoo shoot, a baby bump (providing baby doesn't make an exit before we can arrange a shoot date!!), an engagement shoot at some stunning Abbey ruins, what is set to be a super cool (with  TRULY  gorgeous couple) wedding in Manchester (please rain stay away), a wedding closer to home in the shire with another wonderful couple (the groom to be sent me some inspiration pictures from Classic Le Mans, how cool?! Plus he has designed and printed his own invitations, yes a talented chappie indeed, and I am very excited to be shooting his wedding!)....... and seriously loads more, but will share all in good time. If you could see me right now, you might witness me doing the *excited happy* dance.

Carla and Dave have a beautiful traditional wedding in Shropshire.
Just one little piccie of this gorgeous couple to share as I am in the thick of editing at the mo, so more soon promise. Actually I have a few shoots to share in the near future, lots of exciting things to blog and catch up with.

Back from Wales and on a catch up mission...!

What a wonderful week.... hanging out with my mad bad and wonderful family, swimming in the sea, shooting on film and experimenting, watching the sun behind the trees....

But back home I am now, and I am so incredibly lucky enough to drive up our path and have a wonderful man I love to pieces standing at the front door waiting for me, hug and kiss ready. I always joke that John's shoulder is one of my favourite places in the world, I love just resting my head there and snuggling into the nape of his neck. It is warm and safe and wonderful.

Anyway, enough of the soppy stuff, I'm just on a little bit of a loved up high at the moment after spending some amazing time with people who mean are the world to me.

I'm on a catch up mission with emails and things today and tomorrow, but it is weird that I should come a cross a link to this website on my mini wander through the last week.

Have a look, just be prepared for a few tears to plop down your cheeks. Makes me feel warm inside that maybe one day some pictures that I have taken might be looked back on like this......
