I am having so much fun editing the photos from Rachel and Andrews March wedding held in the beautiful, rural Shropshire countryside.

Andrew and Rachel currently live in London, so although they tied the knot to backdrops of blooming daffodils and spring blossom, their guests were whisked off to their reception venue in a red double decker bus and the newly wed couple hopped into a specially hired and decorated black cab!

A charming wedding........

Aaaaah, Danielle and Carl, what an amazing couple! I was incredibly lucky enough to shoot their wedding last summer, and it certainly was one to remember! The wedding was incredible, not just for the astonishing amounts of detail and thought that had gone into planning it, but also for a couple who you could see a mile off were totally head over heels for each other.

In the run up to the big day, Danielle kept a blog of all the goings ons and planning. Now, some months after the wedding itself, she has now tailored her blog to share tips, inspiration,interviews and real weddings for all of us to gawp over and steal ideas.

Be sure to keep an eye on this one, Danielle has an amazingly creative idea for detail so I'm sure she will be sharing a lot of valuable advice and stories.

Part Two.... The Sex Kitten.....

This is the second of the two fab shoots I did recently (The first is blogged below this post).

Sapphira is an amazing pin up gal. She oozes glamour and vintage decadence oh yeah! I organised a shoot with her and also borrowed an amazing vintage bus from Boultons of Shropshire on sunny Monday afternoon a couple of weeks ago.

She shoot was brilliant, made so much fun by the team of gorgeous girls helping out (see below for full credits).

Thanks to all involved for a great day and so chuffed with the results too :)

the vintage kitten and hula girl!

I have been lucky enough to have had two amazing shoots this week.

The first shoot (last Thursday) saw me trundle off to the (usually more sunny) Brighton on the South Coast. I love Brighton, there is such an exciting buzz about the place.

I was there to shoot an amazing lady called Chi Chi Revolver who is a Hula Hoop artist and circus performer. I used a vintage 50s wedding dress and we had a wander around Brighton looking for cool spots to shoot. Chi Chi was a hero braving the (very!!) windy beaches of Brighton and slightly rainy streets in the little floaty dress and a pair of heels!

I hope the shoot was well worth it as I love the end result in the pictures and here are just a few to share with you.....

New year new year........

Rock on 2011!

Well, midnight rolled around on new years eve with much celebrations. Last year had been a busy and at many points pretty stressfull! We have been having major renovations to our little old school house, including taking the roof off and replacing it! The sad old girl looked worse for wear for much of 2010 but I hope we have been able to breathe a bit of life back into the 170 year old building to keep her alive just a bit longer!




Thankfully now we are *over the hump* and ready to rock on with the adventures the year holds ahead of us :)

The start of January laid bare the rest of the year, but three weeks into 2011 and the diary is filling up mighty quickly, all good, all exciting woohoo!

I am just a little bit toooooo excited about a couple of shoots that are coming up.... but shhhh more about those very soon ;)
